Why Ebb & Flow?
I personally experienced the impact of anxiety disorders and OCD during my teens, which greatly affected my work. Hiding my well-being struggles in an unsupportive workplace resulted in increased absenteeism and presenteeism, negatively impacting my health, family, community, and ultimately, the business bottom line.
Discovering resilience and positive psychology in my early 30s changed everything. I regained control of my wellbeing and learnt to thrive. Now I am a content mother of four, wife, leader, change maker and passionate longboarder!
My personal awakening made me realise there was a new approach to business. Realising that others faced similar challenges and underperformance, I recognised the downstream costs of hidden workplace wellbeing. This inspired me to create positive change by developing a business focused on supporting individuals’ development and wellbeing, while exceeding business needs. Combining my experience in business education, positive coaching, positive organisational psychology, resilience, and wellbeing tracking, Ebb & Flow Global was born.
There’s a better way to do business: holistic training and support for organisations and staff, resulting in increased productivity both at work and beyond.

Studies show that wellbeing is imperative for business profitability. DELOITTE research has proved that investing in wellbeing gives an average ROI of 5.2:1 – that’s over £5 return for every £1 spent. And the better initiatives have been shown to have an ROI of 10.8:1.
Wellbeing might be a nice thing to invest in at some point in the future, but is it really a priority when there are other more pressing challenges?
We believe that wellbeing training and workshops should be done in a preemptive manner to support the aims of your business. Recent studies show that interventions with the highest returns tend to focus on preventative initiatives, addressing employees’ wellbeing before they become stressed and burnt out. Our preemptive interventions help limit the cost of absenteeism and presenteeism further down the line.
Isn’t this a job for our HR department?
Wellbeing might feel as though it is something for Human Resources to take up – but what we do is far more specialised and in depth than anything an HR team might have the time or expertise to deliver. We are fully trained, experienced, knowledgeable Wellbeing experts, and we offer a complete Resilience & Wellbeing solution, with quality materials and high end service and delivery.

We track employee wellbeing using verified surveys and metrics to make sure our interventions are working and that we’re offering the right support where it is needed. We also ensure staff have a say in the bespoke workshops and interventions (alongside company-driven interventions, such as diary management or dealing with overwhelm) so they feel invested, motivated and supported to do a great job.
